Free Arlington Business Seminar Aims to Increase Businesses Sales

?This is a great opportunity for startup firms in technology and other sectors to hear from the best of the best about specific, creative business techniques to grow sales,? said Jennifer Ives, Director of the Business Investment Group at Arlington Economic Development. ?In this challenging economic environment, it is important for all sectors ? private, educational and government ? to come together and ?help entrepreneurs and startups take their companies to the next level.?

Participants include Adam Zuckerman, founder of Foster.ly, a community of entrepreneurs in the Capital region that facilitates discussion and partnerships among local startups and small businesses, and Jim Cheng, Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade. Panelists include Will Fuentes, CEO& Founder of Lemur IMS; ?Brian Callahan, President and CEO of Segue Technologies, and well-respected serial entrepreneur Carla Conti. Breakout sessions focus on everything from social media and selling techniques to exports and dealing with government.
